5 THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND BEFORE YOU START WEARING HIJAB
WHAT IS HIJAB?
A HIJAB IS HEADSCARF, NOT A VEIL. A HIJAB IS WORE TO COVER YOUR HAIR, NECK AND EARS. HIJAB IS A SYMBOL OF MODESTY
WHEN YOUR HIJAB IS SEE THROUGH OR WHEN ITS HALF ON UR HEAD AND HALF NOT OR WHEN ITS ON, BUT UR FRINGE IS SHOWING OR WHEN UR HAIR IS COVERED, BUT UR EARS ARE SHOWING OR WHEN UR HIJAB IS ON, BUT YOU ARE WEARING SKIN TIGHT CLOTHES OR WHEN YOU THINK HIJAB IS JUST A COVERING OF THE HAIR ....
One of the most difficult decisions many Muslim sisters face is the decision to start wearing hijab. This is certainly true for reverts, but may also be true for sisters whose families or even whose cultures are not particularly observant. I would like to offer some advice that I hope In Sha Allah will be helpful to sisters who are considering wearing hijab but find that something is holding them back.
Allah does not burden a soul except what it can bear. For it is what it has earned, and upon it is what it has made due. "Our Lord and Sustainer, do not condemn us if we forget or do wrong. Our Lord and Sustainer, do not put a burden on us like the burden You put on those who were before us. Our Lord and Sustainer, do not put a burden on us that we cannot endure. And blot out (our sins) and forgive us, and be gentle to us. You are our Protector. So help us against the rejectors." (Surah al-Baqarat ayah 286)
Wear it for the sake of Allah SWT
Various statements are made about why you should wear hijab, such as for modesty or for protection, but the real reason that we wear hijab is that Allah SWT has commanded it. Whenever anyone asks you, why do you dress like that, that's the only answer you need to give them.
Wear it today and trust in Allah SWT for tomorrow
What do I mean by that? What I mean is that you should take it one day at a time, or even one outing at a time. Sometimes the future seems to stretch on forever and ever and you don't think you can make it that long. You want to give up before you even begin.
So sometimes the best thing to do is to keep you mind focused on what is immediately at hand. Allah SWT will take care of the future. If you have to go out to the market, then concentrate on being able to wear hijab just for this activity and on getting through it. If you do get through it and nothing bad happened, then give thanks to Allah SWT for making it easy for you, and turn your mind to your next outing.
Or if you have to go out to school or work, then concentrate on being able to wear hijab just for this one day and on getting through it. And give thanks to Allah SWT when you have made it, and turn your mind to the next day.
Eventually the outings will turn into days and the days into weeks, and the weeks into months. One day you will realize that you have been wearing hijab for quite a long time and it isn't really as bad as you feared, and Allah SWT helped you get through it. Don't be ashamed. Sometimes it is like this. The most important thing is to have sabr and keep your trust in Allah SWT always.
FORCED TO WEAR HIJAB
People will assume that you are forced to wear hijab but we all know thats not the case. We wear hijab for the sake of Allah and for ourselves so be ready to get all kinds of compliments. Many people will also assume u as terrorist but we know who we are so keep trusting in Allah SWT.
PEOPLE ARE GOING TO ASK YOU ALL KINDS OF QUESTIONS
People are going to ask u all kinds of questions some of them can be private as well so be ready to answer them. Sometimes getting questions is a good thing because we can teach them about our religion. So whenever someone ask u question answer it politely and happily. I know some questions can be really rude or silly like :-
1. arent u hot with it on?
now show ur sarcasm side by answering this question, yes i would be even hotter if i took it off.
2. will ur dad beat u if u take it off?
yes, my dad will beat me if i take the cloth off my head that i put on by choice.
(disclaimer: i am treated like a princess in my home and nobody would ever lay a hand on me. Hijab is a personal choice i make everytime i put it on.
3.What do u do for fun if u dont drink?
It’s always surprised me how much people think they need alcohol to have “fun.” Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against drinkers (most of my friends drink), but I choose not to because my religion prohibits it. I always respond to this question with a question: “Well, what do you do for fun?” The response is always the same: go to parties, concerts, sporting events, theme park etc. Well, I do all those things too, just minus the beer. The idea of possibly not remembering what I did the night before because of a “few” drinks never appealed to me. I’m forgetful as it is, so I don’t need a substance to facilitate that process.
YOU ARE GOING TO GET JUDGED
No matter where u are going or who u r meeting u are going to get judged. Personally speaking i always get judged by my relatives and friends as well. When someone insults Islam or our Prophet (peace be upon him), or Allah, of course we all hurt, but what I witnessed a few days ago, was perhaps worse. A barrage of abuse from Muslims to the offenders swearing and insulting back. Did our Prophet act like this? Of course not, so by acting in this way are we really defending our faith or weakening it? I feel we are weakening it, we are showing just how weak we can be.
Once when the Prophet was being physically abused in Taif, he was bleeding from having stones thrown at him, Angel Jibraeel came to him and said the Angels of the Mountains can crush these ignorant people between the mountains, should you wish O Muhammad.
You will promote Islam much more effectively this way if you control yourself.
That’s real faith.
You will promote Islam much more effectively this way if you control yourself.
That’s real faith.
the way you respond to insults has an impact on the actual image of Islam. So lose this anger, lose the bad language and become an advert for Islam. Ignore the ignorant who hate unconditionally, if someone criticises Islam and you feel you can have an intelligent conversation with them, then do so politely, they will think so differently of you, even if they don’t agree, they will respect the way you have conducted yourself.
And keep smiling after all smiling is SUNNAH.
And keep smiling after all smiling is SUNNAH.
SHARE YOUR STORY OF HIJAB.
"I chose to wear it to because I want to practice my faith. It was a choice in terms of identity, for me to be a Muslim, and I'm proud to wear it. I thought about it for a couple of years before I put it on. I was worried about how I'd be treated. Your hair is what makes you feel beautiful, but when you do it you are proud to cover up your beauty and be modest in accordance with the Islamic faith."

GUIDE TO MAKE PERFECT ROTI'S / CHAPATI /FLAT BREAD
ROTI (also known as chapati) is a flat bread originating from the Indian subcontinent, made from stoneground wholemeal flour, traditionally known as atta flour, that originated and is consumed in India, Pakistan, Nepal, Srilanka,Maldives and Bangladesh.
There are many videos, articles about how to make roti, but today i am going to tell u guys all the tips and tricks u should know to make soft, round and fluffy roti's. Making rotis are basic skills of indian cooking but for some people it can be very complicated so thats why this article is for you.
TIPS AND TRICKS :-
- The most important key to make perfect roti is the roti dough. Dough should be well and nicely kneaded. Put ur time and effort in kneading the dough. If ur dough will be well kneaded then automatically ur roti will be perfect .
- After making the rotis cover it with cotton cloth or wrap it in aluminium foil. Roti will get hard only when their exposure to air is for longer period of time.
- DO NOT place roti directly in casserole because the steam which is produced at the bottom will make the rotis soggy and sticky.
- If u want to reheat the roti, reheat on a dry heat or on a hot tawa.
INGREDIENTS :-
1 CUP whole wheat flour
1/2 tbsp salt
3/4 cup water
METHOD :-
Sift the flour and salt into a big bowl, then pour the water into the bowl in small batches. DO NOT PUT ALL THE WATER TOGETHER.Now start kneading the dough. You will see that ur dough is coming together . Keep kneading it for 15 to 18 mins until ur dough is soft and silky. Now ur dough is ready but before keeping it aside tuck in the dough and make small holes on ur dough and put 2 tbsp of water on it . Now cover it and keep it aside for 20 mins so that ur dough get set and ready to make perfect rotis.
Now for making roti u will need a tawa or nonstick frying pan can also work , rolling pin which is also Known as belan (it can be also used to beat people 😜 just kidding i dnt believe in violence) you will also need tongs known as chimata to flip ur roti.
Cut ur dough into small balls like shape and tuck it in dust some dry flour on ur surface and roll out round chapati. If u are not able to roll out round chapati then roll it as u want and take bowl and cut it or u can also use pizza cutter and cut ur chapati round. But dont roll out your chapati very thin or very thick .You can also heat your cooking surface while rolling out the dough or you can roll all ur dough and then heat ur cooking surface. Now place the tawa on medium flame, let it heat for 10 seconds then put ur flattened dough on the tawa or cooking surface fo 20 seconds , you will see a slight change of color then flip it upside and again cook it for 10 seconds, u will see small bubbles air bubbles popping on the surface, again flip the roti , now u can gently press the roti with any cloth or tissue paper (it is not necessary to press the roti ) .
Now u can also use net type tawa as shown in the picture down below and put ur flattened half cooked dough on it and on high flame cook it , u will see that ur roti is puffing then flip it for the last tym and take it out on a plate or keep it in any container.
If u dont have this net type tawa no problem just flip ur roti again and press it gently where air bubbles are forming and ur roti will start puffing , as soon it starts puffing flip it and take it on plate and your chapati, phulka, flat bread, roti whatever u call it is ready .NOTE:-
Don't be afraid to rotate the roti so that it doesn't stick or overcook in any one area. You can also flip it back over to brown up the other side a bit more.Depending upon how hot your cooking surface is, you may need to take more or less time in between flips. Pay closer attention to how the roti is browning as opposed to how long it has been cookiing. Friday, 29 July 2016
HEAVEN / ISLAMIC POEM
Whatever we do, we'll pay the price
In the depths of hell or in paradise
For the believer, this life is just like a cage
For the unbeliever, it's the ultimate stage
Little does he know about the awaiting reward
Which is full of luxuries, where no-one gets bored
You'll enter the gate of paradise, if it's in your fate
Your deeds and actions will determine by which gate
No worldly things will you ever miss
On entering the gate, you'll be surrounded by bliss
Four rivers will be granted by the Divine
containing water and milk, honey and wine
People will live in mansions built high
Where they'll live forever, no-one will die
It's bricks will be made of silver and gold
The climate will be perfect, not hot and not cold
A hundred years it will take to circle a tree
Surrounded by loved ones for all eternity
There will be no calls of nature, no-one will sleep
There will be no worries, no one will weep
When people sweat, it will smell of musk
Allah swt will be praised from dawn till dusk
Everyone will be aged 30 or 33
And they'll stay at that age for eternity
The inhabitants will be wearing a beautiful green gown
Sitting on thrones, wearing a crown
People will be happy, there'll be no remorse
To visit others, they'll have a flying horse
Men will have 2 hours as their wives
Who will remain with them for the rest of their lives
On Friday there will be a dinner for people of all races
And a bazaar where people can exchange their faces!
When walking along there'll be many meetings
With prophets and angels, exchanging greetings
Such is the ecstasy that will then prevail
When Allah swt removes His veil
There will be no kings, there will be no peasants
And everyone will see the Divine Allah's presence
There are 100 levels to paradise and we should pray
That Al Firdaus, the highest will be where we stay
Allah swt has showered us with His grace
And we have to be worthy to show our face
Whatever we do ,we'll pay the price
In the depths of hell or in paradise.

MUHAMMAD SAW LIFE POEM
MUHAMMAD صلى الله عليه وسلم
(DISCLAIMER: this poem is not written by me,but this is one of my favorite poem so far )
What a year was 570 AD
A person was born, a prophet to be
Muhammed (saws) that was his name
People were misguided and thats when he came
He would go on to leave all the idols behind
He is an example to all of mankind
Rabbi al Awwal the 12th, that was the day
He came to this world to show us the way
He was born in Mecca, the holiest place
A life full of challenges he was to face
Abdullah(ra) his father, had by then passed away
Leaving Amina (ra)his mother,in her arms he lay
Haalima Sadia,took over his care
Until he was six,our prophet was there
His mother then died,he was left all alone
Abdul Muttalib(ra) his grand-dad then made him his own
When our prophet was nine, his grandfather died
Abu Talib, his uncle, became his new guide
In his 20's,a merchant Muhammed (saws) became by trade
Al-Amin,(the trustworthy) became his grade
Hazrat Khadija(ra)aged 40, became his bride
He was 25, with her by his side
To the poor, she gave away all her wealth
A dedicated wife in sickness and health
360 idols in the Kaaba, they were at that time
Our prophet realised that this was a crime
He would go to mount Hira, leaving behind his wife
Reflecting and wondering about the meaning of life
Whilst thinking there in the midst of the night
He heard a loud voice which filled him with fright
It was the angel Gibrail(as) who asked him to read
Our prophet couldn't and didnt take heed
The angel embraced him and thern asked him later
Read, Read in the name of the Creator
Who created man from a drop of blood
Our prophet couldn't read but at that time he could
Our prophet rushed to the path straight ahead
He heard a voice from the heavens which said
Muhammed(saws) truly you are the messenger of God
Muhammed (saws) was scared and thought this quite odd
'Praise be to God' his wife said instead
''I know you've been chosen as God's messenger' she said
And thus Khadija (ra) became the first woman of islam
And over the next 23 years came the revelation, the Quran
He preached to all people, every creed every race
Yet so many hardships he had to face
There were fears for his life, then the Hijrat took place
He then entered Medina, all by Allah's grace
He was greeted by the Ansaris who gave their salaam
To him and his companians, the Sahaba ikram
Then came the battles, which were fought face to face
Then the conquest of Mecca,Muhammed (saws)'s birthplace
An Nasr was revealed, it's message was clear
Muhammed (saws) knew that his time was near
Everyone gathered to hear his last speech
little did they know how far Allah's message would reach
Muhammed (saws) gave us the miracle the Quran
And now a 1/4 of the world follow Islam
He is our role-model, the best of mankind
And has left the Quran and his Sunnah behind
Read the Quran as much as you can
The words of Allah(swt) for the guidance of man
And follow our prophet's sunnah, when eating and dressing
And send him salutations and many a blessing
He came to mankind to show us the way
And Insha-Allah,we'll meet him, we'll meet him one day.

MAC MASTERCLASS BRUSHES (FANCY ARTIST BRUSHES) REVIEW
So today i am going to review about
MAC MASTERCLASS BRUSHES

Ideal for blush, foundation or powder, the rounded, medium-sized brush applies, blends and contours all over the face or cheeks for even, flawless coverage. Made of synthetic fibers. Handle features special grip design and tilted brush tip for ultimate precision with a sleek black finish.

QUALITY :-I absolutely love this brush! I use it daily for my foundation/BB cream. The bristles are so dense and soft and leaves and amazing finish!
However because the bristles are so dense you need to wash it a few times really well to get out all of the hidden product. These brushes for people who have sensitive skin because it is soft and doesn't irritate the skin like other brushes do. However the brush can break really easily .
HOW TO USE :- This brush is really good for any type of foundation and powders. You can just put ur foundation on the brush and apply it on ur skin in circular motions or u can apply the product to ur skin then blend it with the brush in circular motion. This brush give really good finish . This product is totally worth the money.
2. OVAL 3 BLUSH :-
The ultimate multi-purpose tool with an elongated oval shape and slightly pointed tip. Smoothly shades and blends powder or cream eye shadows, face powders, and liquid or cream concealers in the hard-to-reach contours of the face. Made of synthetic fibres. Handle features special grip design and tilted brush tip for ultimate precision with a sleek black finish.

PRICE :- $32 (RS 2150)
QUALITY :-This brush is soft yet dense enough to allow me to apply my crease and/or lid color exactly where I want it to. I also love it for applying and buffing concealer as well.
HOW TO USE :- This product is good to apply concealer or color corrector but when u apply eye shadow on ur eyes it moves ur skin and when the skin moves u cant get a smooth finish .If u want to apply concealer apply the concealer on ur skin and blend it with small circular motions.i would say this product is okay for concealer ,but not that great .
3.LINEAR 1 BRUSH :-
With a short, narrow shape, this brush delivers a firm, precise stroke to line lashes and lips. Also defines and fills brows. Made of synthetic fibers. Handle features special grip design and tilted brush tip for ultimate precision with a sleek black finish.
PRICE:- $25 (RS1685)

QUALITY:- First of all i have heard lot of negative things about this product ,but when i bought this product it was okay .This product is good for lining ur upper and lower lashline or smudging ur eyeliner or eyeshadow ,but it will take time to get used to it .This product is really great for contouring and filling ur eyebrows. You can also apply gel liner with this product .
HOW TO USE :- If u want to contour take the product directly on the brush and apply it normally as u would do . But make sure u dont blend it harshly ,blend it in with small strokes. You can clean around the lips with this brush for a clean finish .However i will say this product is okay , Not that great , not that bad .

MAYBELLINE HYPERMATTE LIQUID EYELINER (NEW LAUNCH)
Stepping up the matte trend from lips to eyes, Maybelline New York introduces the Hyper Matte Liquid Liner. This first-ever matte finish liquid eye liner comes in a dip-in brush format and gives the most intense, 24 hour long stay lines.
PRICE : INR 325
PACKAGING : The Maybelline hyper matte liner looks exactly similar to their glossy eyeliners but with a different packaging color. This time the packaging is in pure white base with a long sleek cap over it. The packaging is really classy and very convenient. Its travel friendly as well. This product is really good for beginners because the cap is like the pen so u can handle it really easy. The brush is really soft and thin , perfect for thin winged eyeliner .
QUALITY AND PIGMENTATION : It glides on ur skin like butter. The pigmentation is really good , but it is not really matte there is some shine in it which i dont mind. The quality is really good , it does not transfer , it does not smudges , does not fade , it dosent go anywhere , and if u rub ur eyes it will not remove or fade and it is somehow water proof as well . if u will cry it will not remove but if u cry and rub ur eyes it will remove or if u splash water on ur face it will not remove but then if u use towel it will remove . It stays on ur yes for almost 8 to 9 hours , when u apply it , it dries quickly in 2 to 3 mins , which is really great .
Unlike the hyper glossy it does not peel off .I will recommend this to everyone specially for beginners and students. You can wear this everyday and in any party or wedding .Its matte and little bit shiny at the same time. Its budget friendly as well.
DONT FORGET TO SHARE YOUR OPINION IN THE COMMENT BELOW.
TILL THEN
STAY HAPPY
